Microphone Access: The application requires explicit access to your device's microphone to capture audio for real-time transcription. Audio is only captured when you actively start a recording session.
Audio & Transcript Data: Audio data is processed in real-time to generate text transcripts. These transcripts are used to provide the software's core features, including meeting notes, automated summaries, and AI-driven chat assistance.
Account Information: If you subscribe, we collect your email and payment info via our secure processor (Stripe).
Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve our app performance and user experience.

3. Data Retention & Security

We do not store your raw audio recordings permanently. Once transcription is complete, the temporary audio buffer is discarded. Transcripts are stored securely locally on your device and optionally on our servers if you sync your data. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS).

4. Third-Party Services & AI Disclosure

To provide advanced AI capabilities, we share transcript text with trusted third-party AI providers. These providers only receive the text transcripts, never any raw audio.

AI Analysis: We use Groq, OpenAI, and Alibaba Cloud (Qwen) to generate summaries and chat responses.
Enterprise Data protection: Under our enterprise configurations, these providers do not use your shared transcript data to train their commercial models.
Payments: Stripe processes all subscription payments securely.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can delete your meeting history directly within the app at any time. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at privacy@vocallynow.com.
